BECOMING YOURS

Spouse Edition

After spending time exploring personal transformation in my last series, Becoming, I’m stepping into a new journey — one designed specifically for anyone who wants to grow inside their marriage.

Becoming Yours is a guided series focused on transforming the parts of your life that directly shape a healthy, intimate, and fulfilling marriage.
Not by trying to change your spouse…
…but by becoming the version of you that you were created to be within that relationship.

This journey doesn’t promise that your spouse will change, but it will help you take full ownership of the only person you can control: yourself.
Your habits.
Your patterns.
Your communication.
Your presence.
Your heart.

Over the next months, you’ll receive:

12 prompts – deep, reflective, heart-level questions
6 in-between practices or tips – small but powerful steps
✨ A rhythm that works weekly or bi-weekly-  making this about a 6-month process
✨ Occasional recaps to help you pause, notice your growth, and reflect on where you’re being shaped

This series is for the spouse who wants to be intentional.
For the spouse who wants more connection, more honesty, more tenderness, more depth.
For the spouse who’s ready to become a safe place – not perfectly, but purposefully.

If that’s you… welcome.
Let’s begin the process of Becoming Yours.

This was born out of a fun challenge and invitation between friends to support  and hold each other accountable for taking practical steps toward building a life they would truly choose.

Life is hard, beautiful and lovely, but challenging. Unexpected turns and hurdles can disrupt even the best laid plans. Being middle aged there has been enough time for more of these disruptions than I would have hoped. Although I’m not entirely sure I would have known where I’d want my life to go anyway. You wake up one day, or in my case, many days for years on end, and you can’t figure out how you got where you are, and worse, you don’t know who you are. Life has a way of sort of sweeping us along. All of us.

After years of pursing healing, it feels like the time has come to bloom.

My dear friend and I decided to answer the call to change. We agreed to take weekly steps towards not just rediscovering, or in some ways discovering for the first time, who we really are BUT also toward leaning into those discoveries and laying hold of something new. I would send a weekly prompt and we would both do it and share at the end of the week. We would also have follow up steps based on what we discovered as a result of doing the prompt.

It’s a scary but hope filled move of love toward ourselves and our lives. Believing for beautiful things to come.

In thinking about our first prompt I was led to consider sharing the idea with others. So, here I am. If you decide to take the challenge I hope you find it to be fruitful and are blessed by the results. Feel free to share in the comments or in DM and of course please ask questions if you have any.

As all journeys do, I’m sure this one will come with its complexities and resistance but I hope you chose to stay, face those moments, pass through them, and let your life take you to new places.
