Tip: Habit Stacking

Habit Hack – If any of this journey is leading you to build and create new habits this trick will help. Take parts of your life that already have habits built in, and whatever the new habit is, stack it on during that time in bite size pieces. Expand it over time. As you get used to the bite size piece being there, expand it.  As an example, I have  a pretty clear morning routine on the weekdays so when I decided to start walking most days I chose to stack my walk on top of my morning routine. It’s easier to do because the momentum of that routine is already intact AND the rest of my day is not very routine so it is more difficult to force routine into it.
